WHO WE ARE
In 2018, Jonathan Munyany’s eye-opening trip to Makueni County, Kenya, ignited a mission to uplift impoverished villages. Struck by the disparity between prosperous ranches and destitute communities, Jonathan discovered a lack of young adults, who had migrated to urban areas for jobs and sustenance. Witnessing the dire circumstances, including substance abuse and early marriages, he realised the pivotal role of water access in revitalising these villages. Jonathan’s initiative focuses on building water infrastructure, fostering farming projects for food security, and enhancing education and health. By breaking the cycle of devastation, this organisation aims to empower rural areas, drylands, and slums for a sustainable and prosperous future.

People & Environment
We assess locations, raise awareness about climate benefits, provide education and ongoing support, and collaborate with local stakeholders for a supportive tree planting environment.
We Build
We provided training to family farmers in sustainable farming practices, enabling them to overcome inexperience and improve food and profit yields.
Provide Care
Trained birth attendants, combatting malaria, and supporting fistula patients, contributing to a significant improvement in the health of underserved communities
We Educate
Through the Education Reentry Fund, building schools, and Pathway Schools, Civicom Aid is making education accessible, addressing financial barriers, and providing skill development opportunities.
