Farmer-Managed Community Restoration — Kenya
Farmer-Managed Community Restoration Project works through onsite established Farmer Hubs. Family farmers design, lead, and own the restoration process, while Civicom Aid provides training in regenerative farming, tree propagation, and Crop Health App use to improve soil health, food security, and climate-resilient livelihoods.
Loima Farmers Hub
Loima Farmers Hub brings together 150 local family farmers who design, lead, and own community restoration in the Loima dryland region. Civicom Aid supports them with training in regenerative farming, tree propagation, and Crop Health App use. Together, they restore soil health, strengthen food security, build climate-resilient livelihoods, and invite donors, volunteers, fundraisers, grant writers, and partners to support farmer-led restoration.
Turkana West Farmers Hub
Turkana West Farmers Hub helps over 133 family farmers in Turkana West restore degraded farm drylands, improve food production, and build climate-resilient livelihoods.
Through practical farmer training, Civicom Aid supports regenerative farming, Assisted Natural Regeneration, agroforestry, and Crop Health App use. The hub equips farmers to improve soil fertility, increase crop productivity, restore vegetation, and lead community-based dryland restoration.
