Nasilo Shamiru – Uganda

Nasilo Shamiru is a bright and joyful boy who dreams of becoming a musician. He loves creating songs and filling the air with music and laughter. He also enjoys soccer, singing, dancing, and reading storybooks. Even with many struggles, Nasilo’s spirit shines with hope. His imagination, joy, and determination give him the strength to believe in a better future.

Challenges Nasilo Faces
Life is very difficult for Nasilo. His family often survives on one meal a day or none. He owns only one worn-out cloth, has no shoes, no tuition fees, and no school supplies. At night, he sleeps on a banana-leaf mattress and suffers from stunting. These hardships forced him to leave school in February 2025, putting his dream at great risk.
