Naigaga Ruth – Uganda

Naigaga, born in March 2019 and now in Grade 1, is a bright and eager learner. She lives with her single, jobless mother in a small smoky room that serves as both kitchen and bedroom. Though life is tough, Naigaga’s strong spirit and love for learning shine, showing her determination to succeed and create a better future.

Challenges Naigaga Faces
Naigaga’s life is full of struggles. Smoke, mosquitoes, and unsafe water make her sick often. Her family eats only once a day, sometimes not at all. Without school fees or supplies, she writes on the floor and sleeps on banana leaves. These hardships endanger her dream and risk stealing away her chance for a better tomorrow.
