Naigaga Ruth

Born on March 28, 2019, Naigaga is a bright young girl from Uganda living in rural poverty with her single, jobless mother. Their home is a small, smoky room that serves as both kitchen and bedroom, exposing Naigaga to smoke, mosquitoes, and unclean water, leading to frequent illnesses.

Challenges Naigaga Faces

Naigaga’s family struggles to meet basic needs. She often survives on just one meal a day, and the smoky environment and lack of clean water cause frequent illnesses. Naigaga attends Grade 1 but lacks essential school supplies like stationery and a school bag. She often writes on the floor, has never owned shoes, and sleeps on a mattress made of banana leaves. This inadequate nutrition weakens her immune system and hinders her growth and development.

How Your Donation Will Help

Your support will provide essential medical care, nutritious meals, and school supplies like a school bag, stationery, and a uniform. Your contribution will also help improve access to clean water by potentially supporting the construction of a community water point. We will provide Naigaga with a proper mattress and mosquito net for a safer and more comfortable sleep. For only $35 a month, your generosity can break the cycle of poverty and empower Naigaga and her community to reach their full potential. Donate today and give the gift of hope
