Meet Dahlia!

Dahlia Chepkweshok , a bright-eyed 4-year-old born on April 29, 2020, is the second of four children. She lives with her 89-year-old grandmother and two siblings in Kitalale, Kenya. Unfortunately, Dahlia’s parents are not present in her life. Poverty, coupled with the challenges of land degradation and unpredictable rainfall, has made it extremely difficult for her grandmother to provide for the family’s basic needs and education. Sadly, this difficult situation has led to Dahlia dropping out of school.
