Youth-Led. Community-Rooted. Built for Lasting Impact.
Through scholarships, access to remote degree programs, and market-ready digital skills training, youth transition from education to online employment. But the impact does not stop there. Graduates become designers, leaders, trainers, and implementers—driving the program forward and mentoring the next generation.
Scholarships
In the Likoni, Moroto, and Bangladesh slums of Mombasa, thousands of talented students leave school each year because tuition is unaffordable and families survive on less than a dollar a day. Without support, youth lose opportunity, families remain in poverty, and communities lose future leaders.
Civicom Aid responds by providing scholarships that return out-of-school students to class, keep at-risk students enrolled, and open doors for those who never had the chance to attend.
Just USD 200 keeps a high school student in school for one year.
Just USD 550 supports a university student for one year.
Your investment keeps education within reach—and turns potential into progress.
Digital Skills
In Likoni slum, over 5,000 young people lack access to computer hubs for free STEM training, leaving them unprepared for the digital economy and trapped in poverty. Without support, unemployment will rise, inequality will deepen, and communities will miss out on a generation of innovators.
Civicom Aid bridges this gap by providing STEM training, digital job exposure, and life skills through computer hubs, mentorship, and ongoing support. Your funding, technology donation, or volunteer expertise can help youth gain in-demand skills, secure meaningful work, and build resilient futures.
Remote Degree Courses
In Likoni slum, Mombasa, many talented youth cannot attend college because tuition is unaffordable. Yet they have the ambition, ability, and determination to succeed.
Civicom Aid provides free access to accredited remote degree programs through institutions such as Brigham Young University (USA) and Ensign College (USA). We provide computers, reliable internet, and a safe learning space so students can pursue degrees in Information Technology, Business Management, Accounting, Public Health, Project Management, and Entrepreneurship.
Your funding, internet support, computer donations, or volunteer expertise can open the door to higher education, professional careers, and lasting economic independence for these young people and their families.
Oline Jobs
Youth who complete digital STEM training and graduate from accredited programs at Brigham Young University (USA) and Ensign College (USA) are ready to work—but they need access to opportunity.
Civicom Aid equips them with professional skills in workplace ethics, interview preparation, and résumé writing, and provides computers and reliable internet to apply for online jobs.
With your support, these graduates can compete in the global digital marketplace, secure online employment, and build sustainable incomes that lift their families out of poverty.
The story of Elizabeth Musembi
I am Elizabeth Musembi, and this is my story.
As I can remember, my dream of becoming a teacher. I want to stand in front of a classroom, to guide children, and to inspire them as my teachers inspire me. But my journey is not easy.
Right now, I struggle with school fees, learning materials, and food. Many days I sit in class on an empty stomach, trying to learn while hunger weakens me. Some days I miss class, fall behind, and lose focus. When I am hungry I fear to start my dream by speaking to my fellow learners. Without support, I risk leaving school completely, and my dream will die.
But my story is not ending here. Civicom Aid is giving me a second chance. They support my education, provide materials, and bring back my hope. I am in grade 8 now in 2025, and I study with hope in my heart to become a teacher one day.
I will become a teacher, not only for myself, but also for children who, like me, who are thinking poverty can make dreams silent.
I still need support to achieve my dream. And I know I am not alone. Many students have the same problems like me. Help us by giving, by fundraising, by inviting friends, or by sharing my story—you will keep our dreams going on. With your help, we will make lost dreams to become new stars. Welcome!
