Takali Tasha – Uganda

Born on June 4, 2020, to a single jobless mother in a rural area, Takali is now in Pre-Primary 2. She is vibrant, confident, and shows signs of leadership at an early age. Curious and creative, she makes toys from discarded items, tracks insects, plays football, dances, tells stories, and even cooks bananas. With support, her talents can grow into a bright future.

Challenges Takali Faces
Life has not been easy for Takali. Poverty denies her tuition and school supplies, forcing her to write on the floor. Malnutrition has left her stunted, and she walks barefoot to school every day. These struggles put her dreams at risk and threaten her potential. Yet, with timely support, her determination and hope can overcome these barriers.
