Civicom Aid, through its Build a School Program, is transforming learning environments by building classrooms where learners have been studying under trees for over 20 years and are still studying under trees today. We are constructing toilets where learners have been using bushes as makeshift toilets for decades and are still using them today.
We are establishing water points where learners have been walking more than ten kilometers for unsafe water for over two decades and are still walking today. We are also building schools where none have existed for centuries and are still not existing today.
Additionally, we are renovating classrooms and toilets that have been going without maintenance for decades and are still not maintained today.
Every child deserves a classroom, every child deserves a toilet, every child deserves clean water, and every child deserves a safe place to learn.

Kyani Nyanza Primary School Project

In Kyani Villages in Uganda, children at Kyani Nyanza Primary School have studied under trees for over 22 years due to the lack of classrooms. The school has no toilets, and learners walk long distances to fetch contaminated water—exposing them to waterborne diseases and unsafe conditions.

These hardships combined force students to drop out, increase vulnerability to illness, and limit opportunities to succeed. Communities remain trapped in poverty, losing potential for growth and development.

Civicom Aid, in collaboration with AWB Seattle, has designed a building plan for classrooms, toilets, a computer lab, library, water point, and an administration block—creating a safe and supportive learning environment.

We are seeking donors, partners, fundraisers, and artisan volunteers to turn these plans into reality and secure brighter futures for children in Kyani Villages.

Civicom Collge Project

In rural and dryland regions across Africa, family farmers and youth are being left behind. Farmers lack training in regenerative farming, climate resilience, and AI applications, while young people have little exposure to STEM or digital jobs. These gaps deny communities members the chance to increase yields, secure employment, or build businesses. Without action, poverty will persist across generations, inequality will deepen, and the digital divide will continue to widen.

Civicom Aid is responding by establishing Civicom College on one acre of land in Bekibon, Baringo, Kenya. Through the Agripreneurs, Entrepreneurs, and Youth Pathways, learners will gain practical skills, hands-on experience, and the confidence to create sustainable livelihoods.

Within five years, Civicom College will train at least 800 learners every year, equipping them to lead in farming, entrepreneurship, STEM, and the digital economy.

We invite architects, donors, partners, fundraisers, and volunteers to join us in designing and building classrooms, washrooms, a digital lab, and demonstration spaces—turning this vision into reality and transforming communities for generations.

Joyland School Toilets Renovation and Expansion Project

Joyland School serves children from nursery to junior secondary levels, offering learners from families in poverty a chance to access education. Many parents have little or no education, are unemployed, or rely on unstable small businesses. The school exists to provide hope and opportunity where few exist.

The problem is urgent: the school’s toilets are severely damaged and far too few for the growing number of learners. Children are exposed to intestinal worms, frequent sickness, and embarrassment. Parents spend scarce resources on treatment, while some learners are forced to use open spaces—harming health, dignity, and education.

Civicom Aid is launching the Joyland Toilets Renovation & Expansion Project (Total Cost: USD 2,100). You can donate, volunteer as a mason or painter, or partner with us. Together, we can protect health, restore dignity, and create a safe place for learning.
