Inclusive Education

Civicom promotes the education of children who are left out or excluded or open to dropping from school by providing scholastic materials, scholarships, water points, and building classrooms, toilets, libraries, and computer labs.

Dryland school water point

School children in drylands find themselves walking at least 7 km away from school in search of water and sometimes they hardly find it while others remain at home for months. Civicom is on the ground to respond, with a school water point, by drilling a borehole, install storage tank, solar power pump, taps, and solar panels. Civicom's 2023 to 2026 will have 20 drylands school water points. Become a partner or volunteer

Rural school water point

School children in rural areas find themselves walking at least 6 km away from school in search of water. They miss the whole day's lessons. They fetch water in shifts. Fetching water discourages children and leads to school drop out, low performance, and poor passing to the next grades. Civicom is on the ground to intervene, with a rural school water point, by drilling a borehole, install storage tank, solar power pump, taps, and solar panels. Leen Special School

Teaching deaf learner

In the last two decades, the number of dumb and deaf children Mombasa's villages has grown steadily. These children are sometimes stigmatized, and isolated within their own families, leaving them vulnerable to large range of isolation, rape, uneducated, naked, wandering and begging. Civicom's 2023 plan is to buy 3 acres of land and build classrooms, toilets and library. Become a partner or sign language teacher

Kyani Nyanza Primary School

Kyani Nyanza Primary School - Uganda

Kyani Nyanza is a public primary school in Kaliro, Uganda. The school has existed for over 20 years without a single classroom and toilet. Children study under trees as classrooms and use nearby trees as toilets. They contaminate the community land. Weather conditions interrupt their learning. Civicom Aid is on the ground to help change the situation by building classrooms, toilets, a library, and a computer lab, drilling a borehole, and installing a water tank. We cannot do it alone, we need a grantmaker, fundraisers, masons, roofers, architectural deigner, and water plumbers. Also, scholarships and girls sanitary pads are direly needed.
